We are seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join an Independent Broker with multiple Offices across Yorkshire who has Chartered Insurance Broker status. The Brokerage are expanding and now have a number of new roles in the claims department.

They are seeking a Commercial claims Handler who will be dealing with Motor, liability and Contractors claims from notification to settlement.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience within either Commercial Brokerage or an Insurer claims background and have a excellent understanding of FSA regulations.

Working in a professional team of Claims Handlers and Brokers, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial claims from start to finish providing assistance to the client throughout the claims process, following FCA and Treating Customers Fairly guidelines.

The main duties will be:-

• Dealing with Technical Queries.
• Provision of monthly MI Reports to the claims Manager.
• Negotiating & Liaising with Insurers on all matters.
• Processing all administration.
• Complaint handling.
