We are working with a growing and well respected accountancy firm based in South London and they are recruiting for an experienced Client Manager to join the business.
The firm pride itself on working with and supporting entrepreneurs, start-ups, owner-managed businesses and high net worth individuals in the UK generally and overseas. They offer a comprehensive range of accountancy services to corporate clients, including an off-site accounts department (budgeting, management accounts, VAT and Payroll compliance, ledger management), Year-end accounts and corporation tax returns preparation, FD-level consultancy and company secretarial services. In addition, the firm offers personal tax services to a wide range of individuals
Reporting into the Partners, the Client Manager the position will be responsible for managing a small team, client portfolio management, dealing with company of start-ups, entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses.
Key duties / responsibilities will include;

Management of a portfolio of clients
Assist the partners in managing the relationship to ensure that all services are being provided to the highest standards.
Point of contact for day to day requests and queries.
Preparation of management accounts, year-end accounts and corporation tax returns.
Review of bookkeeping work and other services performed by junior staff
Liaise with Senior Manager and Partners on salient matters.
Liaise with the Personal Tax department to ensure that owner-directors’ affairs are tax-efficient.
Liaise with the Practice Manager to ensure that invoices are raised for agreed amounts on a timely basis.
For this role it is essential that candidates are ACCA or ACA Qualified and have 3-5 years PQE.
Ideally candidates will have experience within smaller firms and have worked in varied positions. Strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely with business owners is essential.
Strong knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements of accounts is essential and candidates must have good working knowledge of recurring VAT, Payroll and Company Secretarial issues faced by owner-managed businesses.
