We are working with a leading business based in the Skipton area and due to continued growth, they are recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant / Management Accountant to join the team.
Reporting into the FC, the role will be responsible for all monthly accounting, in addition to working on one of their subsidiaries - responsible for complete financial reporting and monthly accounting.
Candidates will ideally be studying CIMA/ACCA/ ACA (or equivalent) and have proven technical accounting experience. It is important that candidates can work well under pressure / to deadlines set, and respond well to work delegated to them. Key duties will include;

Responsibility for the complete accounting including monthly management accounts and quarterly accounts
Heavily involved with the quarterly management accounting for the subsidiary (c80/90m TO)
Supporting the FC with ad-hoc projects and involvement with accounting for the group
All day to day accounts including full ledger control and VAT returns
Management Reporting and involvement in ad hoc projects.
Traditional month-end/year-end accounting routines.
Involvement with the CIS sub-contract procedures in line with internal systems and current legislation.
Credit control, bank reconciliation and cash-flow reporting
Overseeing annual return procedures in terms of P11D, PSA and National Statistics
Overseeing and supporting more junior members of the team
This is a really good opportunity as will be working for a large company, although will have exposure and responsibility for alround accounting, including all day to day and full month-end duties.
