Cameron James are currently looking for experienced Purchase Ledgers for the Yorkshire market. Successful candidates will have proven experience within a Purchase Ledger position and will be familiar with all aspect of a busy accountancy position.
The Candidate:
• Experience when matching, batching and processing incoming invoices
• Checking goods received match those on purchase order and have been processed at the agreed rate
• Preparing payment runs is essential, executing payment runs would be advantageous
• Maintenance of the purchase day book
• Preparation of aged credit reports for senior management
• Ideally will have dealt with foreign currency although this is not essential
• Educated to degree level within a relevant discipline preferred or studying towards AAT
• Advanced level of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Outlook
