The primary function of the role will be to take, own and deliver conceptual ideas from the Sales Process and deliver our service offering to the client, ensuring that is creative, scalable, robust and ultimately deliverable.

Coming from a busy, fast moving, 3 or 4PL environment such as express delivery, you will display strong project management competencies and demonstrate a high level of commercial awareness. Possibly from an operational, existing technical sales or CRM/Account Management role you will work alongside various internal teams (to include Sales, Operations, IT and Customer Services), you will manage and deliver new projects strategy, change initiatives and possess the ability to drive process improvements in line with the customer experience.

The chosen candidate will need to be confident and have a thorough understanding of the Sales process from inception through to completion, demonstrating experience of running projects within the logistics sector.

We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and skilled professional who can really expand on the role and make it their own and drive forwards the efficiency and outcomes of our future strategies.

Computer literate, you will be adept at developing and implementing projects and new business acquisitions, liaising/engaging with customers at all levels.

You will be expected to work collaboratively alongside other senior managers to provide a first class, efficient client experience.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate scenarios that are comparable to the types of project the client has, in the following areas:

• What went well
• What did they learn
• What key challenges they face
• How they are with the client facing piece
• The balance between client expectations and internal capabilities/time constraints

Candidates will be selected on the following basis:

• Process and procedurally driven : experience in a PRINCE2 environment
• Logistics/Operational experience will be an advantage : you will need to be able to hit the ground running and be across the intricacies and complexities that the industry presents
• You will need to be able to grow with the client : understand where they are going and really develop the role
• The role would best suit a graduate, with 3-5 years commercial experience looking at progressing their career to the next level, possibly taking in a PRINCE 2 qualification.
