My client is an established manufacturing company based in West Yorkshire who is urgently seeking an Accounts Admin/Accounts Assistant professional to come and assist initially on a 3 month FTC. The successful candidate would have previous experience within an accountancy positions and will have a proven record of successful management of finance accounts and payroll responsibility.

The Role:

• All payroll responsibility including calculations of overtime, auto-enrolment of pensions, preparation of HMRC weekly returns (VAT), new starters and recent leavers, holiday pay
• Management of the purchase ledger and dealing with invoices, delivery notes, inputting of invoices, payment runs and bank reconciliation
• Year end functions including stock analysis
• In absence you may be required to manage the Sales Ledger responsibilities including cash allocation, invoices, credit control, VAT spreadsheets, bankruptcy claims and petty cash


The Candidate:

• AAT qualified preferred
• Experience within a similar position, must have purchase ledger and payroll as a minimum
• Proficient user of Microsoft applications especially the manipulation of Excel spreadsheet data
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Urgent start required
