Accounts Assistant

Cameron James are working with a well known company in the local are who have been established in Yorkshire for over a century who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy Accountancy team. The successful candidate would have proven experience when working within an accounts department and will be able to work on their own initiative.

The Role:

• Processing invoices and bank reconciliation
• Arranging payments and generating invoices
• Dealing with incoming queries in regards to invoices from clients and suppliers
• General accountancy responsibilities when required


The Candidate:

• Essential to have previous experience when working in an accounts department
• Desirable to be AAT qualified or studying toward the qualification
• Would ideally come from the same industry as my client due to experience on internal systems
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work on Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel at an intermediate level as a minimum
