Sub Contract Supply Chain Manager

Our client is rapidly expanding facilities management business, specialising in refurbishment of private and public sector buildings. These cover both housing and non-housing facilities across sectors including local authorities, housing associations, education, retail, private and commercial.

We are seeking a Sub Contract Supply Chain Manager based in Bristol. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the company contracts with its major subcontractors on the most appropriate basis in order to maximise profit and minimise risks while meeting budget targets. Other responsibilities will include the follow:


• To prepare, tender and develop subcontract agreements
• Manage pricing of key subcontractors to maximise business wins and profitability.
• To analyse spend patterns and implement solution to reduce cost and improve performance.
• To audit major subcontractors to ensure performance and risk control is effectively managed.
• To train colleagues on best practice for procuring and managing subcontractors/risk.
• To assist in the preparation of costs for major tenders
• To develop and maintain relationships with the local company offices and supply base.



This is the ideal role for a Supply Chain Manager with proven experience of working with subcontractors within the property services/FM sector.

To be considered for this role, you must have:


• Ideally you will have a role related degree and CIPS qualification.
• Proven experience in a similar Procurement role within the FM/Property Services sector.
• A proven track record of improving performance and minimising risk through effective


subcontract contracting.

• You will have proven experience in sourcing and procuring large subcontract packages and processes, cost control and EDI.
• You will have excellent planning and organisation, problem solving and communication skills both written and verbal.
• You will be results driven, analytical and self-motivated with excellent.
• You will be IT literate.
