Cameron James Professional Recruitment is working with a professional services company who are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner for an initial 12 month FTC. The HR Business Partner will be solution focused with the ability to plan strategically at the same as thinking on your feet. You will have extensive experience of building highly effective relationships with customers and be able to demonstrate experience of operating within a business partnering environment.

As a highly regarded and credible HR professional, you’ll be ready to support the delivery of professionally regarded HR service within a business partner model.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the delivery of a business driven and excellent customer focused HR Services to internal customer groups in the UK and Ireland.
• Maintain a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, engagement and retention activities, including an understanding of compensation and benefits.
• Support line managers by driving a performance culture through coaching, facilitating talent assessments and succession planning meetings.
• Provide strategic advice and professional interpretation and expertise to your customer groups as well as the HR Team in terms of UK, Irish and EU Labour Law, policies and practices.
• Work in partnership with managers to ensure a consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
• Undertake a project management approach to ensure delivery against targets and timelines on business-critical HR related projects.
• Utilise the HR information systems to provide highly informative management information to strategically plan ahead in relation to resource management.
• Support the delivery of appropriate training and development solutions and programs.
• Contribute to and leads HR projects
• Contributes to business projects
• Facilitate the understanding and implementation of key people management/HR processes within their designated business areas


Person Specification:

• Must demonstrate an extensive track record of successful business-partnering in a, fast-paced environment.
• CIPD qualified or equivalent by experience.
• Successfully managed projects and delivered against challenging timescales and targets.
• Line management experience and experience of coaching and developing people to succeed in a professional HR role.
• Excellent decision maker and used to operating within a flexible and environment.
