My client, a worldwide manufacturing company, is looking for a proactive Assistant Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This role, based in the Heathrow area, combines both the transactional duties as well as assisting with year-end. Working within a larger finance team, this position reports into the Senior Accounting Manager.

Main duties:

� Processing supplier and inter-company invoices
� Preparing payments
� Resolving invoice queries
� Assist with month and year end closing
� Preparation of multi-currency VAT returns
� Reconciliations of general ledger accounts
� Dealing with staff expenses


Ideal candidate:

� AAT qualified or equivalent
� 5 years+ experience in accounts
� Understanding of double entry
� Experience of working with multiple currencies
� Strong MS Office skills


This role will suit someone who is a self-starter and can work with minimal supervision with the option to progress within the future.
