Mortgage Underwriter / Credit Assessor - Birmingham

A growing sub-prime mortgage lender based in Birmingham is looking to employ a mortgage underwriter to add to their friendly team due to an internal promotion. The ideal candidate will be as follows:

• Current or previous mortgage underwriting experience of at least 1 year
• Ability to work compliantly
• Working closely with mortgage advisors
• Has a mandate of at least £150,000
• Understanding of mortgages and mortgage regulation
• Ability to make important and logical decisions
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Good time management skills




Due to the expansion of the team and growth in the business there is the potential for progression and full support is offered to help with development.

Basic salary of £16,500 - £21,500 dependant on experience. Full benefits package also available including pension and subsidised financial products.
