Job Information

My client, a not-for-profit organisation, is looking for an Accountant to join them on a 12-14 month MAT leave cover. This role, based in the Blackfriars area, takes on the primary responsibility for the day to day running of the accounts department. Working within a team of three, this role reports into the Chief Operating Officer.

Main duties:

� Producing monthly management accounts
� Managing a team of two whilst maintaining accuracy
� Processing payments
� Daily banking
� Month end reconciliations
� Dealing with PAYE and VAT returns
� Processing payroll for 45 employees


Ideal candidate:

� 2+ years� experience in a management role
� Sage 50 and Sage Payroll knowledge
� Strong on MS Excel : V Lookups, Pivot tables
� Hands-on, enthusiastic professional


This role will best suit someone who is looking to gain valuable experience within a growing organisation.
