Cameron James are working exclusively with a well established family run manufacturing business based just outside of Bradford centre who are actively looking for a Management Accountant/Financial Controller to come on board and be the successor to the current Accountant who is due to retire. The successful candidate will have proven experience within the Finance function of a busy company and will be keen to progress to the next step.

As the retiree wont be leaving the business until towards the end of 2015 my client are keen to have someone in post for a substantial hand over period.

The Role:

• Actively looking after all area's of the accountancy function
• Ensuring Payroll and VAT meets compliance standards
• Preparing annual budgets and presenting these to Board level
• Management Accounts on a monthly basis and variance analysis
• P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
• Preparation of annual files and liaison directly with Auditors


The Candidate:

• Ideally will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• 2 years+ industry experience would be advantageous
• A working knowledge of costing systems, Sage (ideally 200 and payroll) is essential
• Experience within the home improvement sector would be beneficial
• Analytical, problem solving, appropriate delegation and organisational skills
• Working understanding of Microsoft applications especially Excel
