My client in the motor trade, has a position for a Credit Controller become available to join their finance team based in Hayes, Middlesex. The role is for somebody who is immediately available and experience in the role.

Main duties:

� Allocation of payments on a daily basis
� Collating the cheques from across the group and ensuring that they are allocated and banked in a timely manner on a weekly basis.
� Ensuring that statements are sent to debtors on a regular basis
� Action the information that is returned on the reconciled statement.
� Liaising with senior management and reporting on the ledger as required.
� Working closely with internal staff at the 10 sites to resolve invoicing queries.
� Assisting the management accountant with external audits.
� starting legal proceedings if debts are not paid within an agreed time
� attending external meetings


Ideal candidate:

� 2 years� experience in Credit Control
� Excellent telephone manner
� Working knowledge of Sage and Excel
� Experience of asset based invoice discounting
� Team player with great communication skills
