We are working with a leading technical service provider and they are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join the business.


This is a 6 month fixed contract to start ASAP. Candidates must be either immediately available or 1 weeks notice.


Reporting into the FD the main focus of the role will be to prepare detailed management accounts, group consolidation and reporting. Key duties will include;
•Preparing periodic financial statements, including P&L accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries.
•Valuation of Work in Progress, revenue recognition and reporting on profitability per contract.
•Prepare, develop and analyse management accounting information to ensure management make well -informed decisions regarding future stability, growth and profitability.
•Analysing variances and exploring potential problems with line managers, making appropriate recommendations
•Project costings, calculating rates, margins, costs and overall performance
•Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers and liaising with other function managers to ensure finances and accounts are viewed in context.
•Implement corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.


For this role it is essential that candidates are fully qualified ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA and have solid management accounting experience.


Ideally candidates will have knowledge of CIS scheme (this is not essential).
