I am currently recruiting for an experienced part qualified Accounts professional who is looking for that next step. The successful candidate will ideally be studying towards a professional qualification in accounts and will have a number of years experience within industry as part of a senior Accounts function. My client is a family run enterprise just outside the main centre of Bradford who operate in the construction and home improvement sector.

The Role:

• Directly managing a team of two
• Actively managing all areas of Accounts and delegating as required
• Overseeing all payroll and VAT
• Monthly management accounts, month end and variance analysis
• Preparing annual budgets and profit & loss analysis
• Actively forecasting P&L, balance sheer and cash flow
• Presenting financial reports to board level
• Other adhoc duties where required


The Candidate:

• Studying towards either ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Proven experience within management accounts is essential ideally 2 years plus
• Working knowledge of costing systems and Sage
• Track record of delivering key financials to Board level
• Preferably will be familiar with the home improvement sector
