My client, a building contractors, is looking for a Sub-Contract Clerk to join their expanding team. This role, based in the St Albans area, is a brand new opportunity for someone with a construction background to join their team. This varied role involves the accurate input of sub-contractors information whilst reporting into the Finance Manager.

Main duties:

� Inputting payments
� Maintaining sub-contractor records
� Preparing payment runs
� Maintaining subcontractor insurances
� Creating new contract accounts
� Inputting of receipts
� Liaising with onsite teams
� Dealing with any queries


Ideal candidate:

� 2+ years� experience in a similar role
� Knowledge of CIS scheme
� MUST have worked in the construction sector
� Knowledge of VAT for residential and mixed contracts is beneficial


This role will suit someone who is looking to build upon their knowledge within a sub-contract role with the option to progress within the future.
