Job Information

A boutique IFA business are looking to recruit a Paraplanner for their busy and dynamic Birmingham Offices. In a position which would involve broad exposure to pensions, life and investments technical assistance, this would allow the ideal candidate broad exposure and fast progression.

Key experience/responsibilities:

• Preparation of files for existing client review meetings
• Preparation of Fact Finds
• A minimum of FPC 1 or equivalent is necessary for this role
• Submission of suitability letters using approved guidance notes
• Being able to complete replacement business from start to finish, again using the preapproved guidance notes
• Candidate should be fluent in Intelligent Office and/or Advisor Office, as well as the Wrap Platforms from providers
• Close contact with third party providers including obtaining personalised illustrations, key features documents and application forms
• Organising letter of authority to third party providers in order to obtain necessary ceding scheme information
