I am currently recruiting for an experienced generalist HR Manager for a professional services organisation in Reading.

My client is a well established, multi-disciplined professional services firm, with an excellent reputation within the international market place. Technology, Media and Telecoms focussed, has an impressive client base. They are now expanding their team and are recruiting for a strong HR generalist. They will be required to join their HR & Payroll team providing outsourced services, to their American client base.

The successful candidate should have extensive experience in the following:

• Employee Relations : redundancies, dismissals, performance management issues are an essential requirement of this role.
• The successful candidate will be competent in the management of employee/labour relations and legal issues and will counsel our clients on related issues.
• Good understanding of UK Employment law and how to apply
• Practical hands on approach to problem solving
• European HR experience would be advantageous
• Assist with implementation of employee benefits plan and insurances
• Understanding of Payroll would be useful


The successful candidate will be

• CIPD qualified
• Self confident, with excellent communication and client management skills.
• Experience of working in a generalist HR management position.
