Our Client is a fast growing Financial Services Network based in West Sussex. They require an individual who has exposure to the Financial Services Sector and is able to deliver Advisor technical training. They may consider someone with the technical experience without the Financial Services knowledge as training will be given but the salary will reflect this.





Main Function of Job:





The Adviser Technology Officer is responsible for supporting the Adviser Technology Manager in all aspects of the department’s responsibilities. This includes being trained then progressing to delivering training on the bespoke in-house adviser workstation tools to both internal and external individuals of the Network. The role also includes working with spreadsheets, data analysis and cleansing.





Duties and Responsibilities



• Answering member firm queries relating to the Workstation Tools
• Analysis and Excel Spreadsheet based data manipulation
• Delivering training for the workstation tools and processes, on appointment and on request, to ensure correct, efficient and effective implementation and ongoing usage
• Assisting with regular upgrades and enhancements to the workstation tools.
• Assisting with the configuration of the Workstation tools, including licence administration.
• Ongoing maintenance of the Workstation tools
• Composing and issuing periodical newsletters covering any aspect of the Adviser Workstation development and changes necessary for the adviser to operate the systems.
• Assisting with composing and maintaining the necessary training manuals on all the workstation tools.
• Look at how the functionality of systems can be developed for the users
• To produce information and reports as requested





Experience/ Knowledge Required:





Full UK driving license


Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial services with ability to demonstrate product awareness


Competent knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel


Experience with back office systems desirable : Intelliflo an advantage
