My motor industry client is currently recruiting for an Accountant to join their team based near Huddersfield. They are a longstanding company who has a number of depots in the UK

The role has been created due to increase in business and the company evolving as a whole. You will be reporting directly into the Finance Director and working alongside two other accountant. You will be responsible for two of the dealership sites.

Duties include:

• Preparing the management accounts for two sites
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting monthly composite to the manufacturer for the two sites
• VAT Returns
• Payroll
• Coordinating and managing periodic stock checks
• Preparing budgets
• P11d reviews
• Authorising and coding of purchase invoices invoices
• Day to day managing of accounts staff when senior accountant off


Requirements:

• Motor trade experience essential
• Qualified CIMA/ACCA Experience


Offering competitive salary of c£25 - £35k dependent on experience
