I am seeking applications for a Procurement Process Manager for a large, multinational company based in Birmingham.



The role will be focussed on the continuous development of the procurement function, working in close partnership with the vendors and suppliers to develop a world class purchasing processes and procedures.



Although managing a small team within procurement, you will not be in a traditional operational buying role. The key focus will be on CI of processes, people and procedures to minimise risk and costs, whilst improving all round partnerships with the external supply base.



Key experience required includes:

• At least 3 years managerial level Procurement experience, you will be expected to identify, design and implement improvements and train others within purchasing in the new operational methods of working
• Experience of using SAP is a must; the role will be heavily involved in the SAP project team
• Experience of working in a Kaizen or similar CI environment
