Cameron James Professional Services are working with a London-based Property Company who are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner. The HR Business Partner plays a key role in the delivery of a proactive, value-adding HR partnering service that meets business needs and supports the effective implementation of the HR strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver highly proactive HR Partnering service to senior stakeholders within the nominated business areas, working collaboratively to deliver positive change. Develop an in-depth understanding of the strategic and operational priorities and of each partnering area and adapt approach accordingly.
• Provide expert and accurate advice, guidance and support on all employee relations matters including but not limited to, high level disciplinary, capability and grievance issues, sickness absence, restructuring and consultation.
• Support other HR colleagues on complex or potential high risk casework.
• Play a senior role in the effective management and delivery of organisational development and change programmes.
• Support and advise on the effective implementation of the Talent Attraction and Talent Management strategies, including supporting recruitment and selection of talent into key roles.
• Lead or support a range of HR projects in accordance with the HR delivery plan, driving positive change in line with the strategic direction of the business.


Person Specification:

• The successful role holder must be fully CIPD qualified with a breadth of HR experience gained across different business sectors including commercial and corporate experience.
• Demonstrates ability to work effectively as a senior HR Business Partner, establishing credibility and building relationships quickly; self-motivated to manage expectations/needs of customers to ensure an excellent standard of customer service is provided at all times.
• Extensive employee relations / employment law knowledge, able to demonstrate management of complex ER issues across the spectrum including Disciplinary, Grievance issues, Capability/Performance issues, absence management, restructuring and redundancy, consultations and ideally TUPE transfers.
• Demonstrates a good awareness of forthcoming legislative changes and their impact on the business.
• Experience of implementing talent, performance management and employee engagement strategies.
• A skilled project manager : applies a systematic approach to planning and managing projects and can demonstrate experience of leading small project teams and delivering tangible outcomes on time and to budget.
• Experienced in recruitment and selection, including sourcing, selection and assessment design (including assessment centres) for roles at all levels.
• A personable team player : works collaboratively with colleagues at all levels, and demonstrates a willingness to ‘role your sleeves up’ to get the job done.
• Assertive, highly professional and willing to both challenge and be challenged.
