Our client is a rapidly growing Plant Hire business based in North London. Due to the continued expansion, they are seeking a Buyer to join and support the Purchasing function of the business.

The Buyer will work within specific buying categories, working within a cross functional team to plan, develop and implement best practice techniques and best value suppliers to support the business.

The role will involve:


� Strategic market analysis
� Option development
� Selection & Contracting
� Relationship management
� Use of e-sourcing/e-procurement and e-auctions
� Analysis of stock levels



Additionally, you will also be responsible for negotiating prices, placing of orders, spend analysis and reporting of buying activity on a monthly basis.

You must have the following experience:


� 5 years in a professional buying role
� Strong negotiation skills and experience
� CIPS qualified
� E-Procurement experience.
