Purchase Ledger Clerk

Cameron James are currently working with an established and growing building distribution company who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will have successfully passed Math and English at GCSE level and have some experience within a finance department. You would be looking to jump start your career in Accountancy.

The Role:

� Efficiently making BACS and Cheque Payments
� Setting up payment runs
� Monitoring cash flows and reporting to management
� Matching, batching and coding invoices
� Bank reconciliations
� Dealing with all queries on the Purchase Ledger as a first point of contact




The Candidate:

� Working knowledge of Purchase ledger and basic accounting is essential
� Minimum Education requirements GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
� Knowledge of cross ledger would be advantageous
� Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
� Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel is essential
