Assistant Accountant

Cameron James are working with a bathrooms company who are looking for a standalone Assistant Accountant for a new position to begin building the internal Accountancy function. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounts and will be looking to set up a career and team.

The Role:

� Dealing with all aspects of Sales Ledger and Credit Control
� Working on Purchase Ledger and sending invoices
� Performing weekly and monthly Payroll
� Bank reconciliations
� Monthly management accounts
� Setting up and executing payment runs


The Candidate:

� Qualified AAT and Studying towards CIMA or ACCA preferred
� Essential experience within an accounts department
� Must have experience in Payroll
� Ability, tenacity, autonomy and drive to be motivated in a standalone position
� Career minded with the vision of team leadership
� Previous experience on Sage and intermediate Excel
