Cameron James are working with a bathrooms company who are looking for a standalone Assistant Accountant for a new position to begin building the internal Accountancy function. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounts and will be looking to set up a career and team.

The Role:

• Dealing with all aspects of Sales Ledger and Credit Control
• Working on Purchase Ledger and sending invoices
• Performing weekly and monthly Payroll
• Bank reconciliations
• Monthly management accounts
• Setting up and executing payment runs


The Candidate:

• Qualified AAT and Studying towards CIMA or ACCA preferred
• Essential experience within an accounts department
• Must have experience in Payroll
• Ability, tenacity, autonomy and drive to be motivated in a standalone position
• Career minded with the vision of team leadership
• Previous experience on Sage and intermediate Excel
