My client, based in the Tunbridge Wells area, is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their expanding team. This role, within an established, high-end hotel, will involve all aspects of transactional accounting whilst also getting involved in the month-end process. Working within a small team, this position reports into the Financial Accountant.

Main duties:

� Assisting with the preparation of month-end accounts
� Assisting with the management accounts
� Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
� Processing payroll
� Performing bank reconciliations
� VAT Returns
� Daily banking
� Cash book and cash management


Ideal candidate:

� IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE
� 3 years� experience in a similar role
� Prior hospitality sector knowledge
� Proficient with MS Office : particularly Excel
