Job Information

My client, based in the St James Park area, is looking for a Project Accountant to join their expanding team. This role, within an international oil and gas company, will initial commence on a 3 month contract with the option to go permanent after this and provides a vital part of the day to day financial running. Working within a team of five, this position reports into the finance manager.

Main duties:

• Preparing annual statutory accounts
• Preparing monthly variance analysis
• Cash flow forecasting
• Making judgments on cost accruals for assets
• Complete responsibility for cash management
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Invoicing of sales and chasing aged debtors


Ideal candidate:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• 3+ years’ post qualified experience
• Oil and gas industry knowledge
• Experience managing teams


This role will suit someone who is looking to join an international company at a very exciting time in its expansion.
