My client, based in the Chelsea area, is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their exciting business. This role, within a media production company, is a vital part of the accounts team and requires a proactive and flexible attitude. Working within a team of 4, this position reports into the Director.

Main duties:

• Reconciling prepayments and accruals
• Preparing month-end journals
• Overseeing two finance assistants
• Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
• Reconciling ledgers
• Assisting with month-end reconciliations
• Assisting with year-end duties


Ideal candidate

• 5 years’ in a similar role
• Proficient with Sage 50 and Excel
• AAT qualified, ACCA qualified or QBE
• Flexible approach to day to day duties


This role will suit someone who is looking to join an expanding company and can take a hands on approach whilst also using their initiative.
