My client, based in the Chelsea area, is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their exciting business. This role, within a media production company, is a vital part of the accounts team and requires a proactive and flexible attitude. Working within a team of 4, this position reports into the Director.

Main duties:

� Reconciling prepayments and accruals
� Preparing month-end journals
� Overseeing two finance assistants
� Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
� Reconciling ledgers
� Assisting with month-end reconciliations
� Assisting with year-end duties


Ideal candidate

� 5 years� in a similar role
� Proficient with Sage 50 and Excel
� AAT qualified, ACCA qualified or QBE
� Flexible approach to day to day duties


This role will suit someone who is looking to join an expanding company and can take a hands on approach whilst also using their initiative.
