Cameron James are working exclusively with a growing FMCG company based just outside of Middlesborough centre who are looking for an accountancy professional for an urgent requirement. My client have expanded well and now employ over 100 members of staff with a growth plan in mind to increase to over 200 staff in the next 3 years. This alongside with the opening of a new factory in the upcoming months provides stability in the knowledge that the company will continue to increase.

The successful candidate will be immediately available (or on very short notice) will have previous experience in an accountancy role and will be ideally AAT qualified.

The Role:

• Opening new client accounts on CRM system
• Managing all aspects of the Sales Ledger
• Raising invoices and credit notes where necessary
• Producing month end reports and weekly billing information
• Accounts reconciliation
• First point of contact for all invoice queries
• Allocating cash and producing invoices
• Performs audits and data entry upon request


The Candidate:

• Ideally immediately available or able to start at very short notice
• AAT Qualified is preferred
• Good working knowledge of Sage
• Previous experience in an Accountancy team is essential
• Must have sales ledger and purchase ledger experience
• Ability to work on own initiative would be advantageous
