Job InformationCameron James is working with a leading Independent Insurance Broker, who are looking to strengthen their already well-established market share with the appointment of a Commercial Account Executive to join the business out of their Norwich branch.
This is an excellent opportunity for a well-established insurance professional to join a traditional independent yet dynamic broker who are truly look after their staff and offer a working environment second to none.
Targeting new commercial development opportunities
Target all different types of commercial clients, while developing a sales strategy alongside the Branch Director.
Take ownership of can existing client portfolio which currently generates cĀ£125,000 in premium income, resolving inquiries and problems in a timely and efficient manner and maintaining a positive and growing relationship with customers.
Targets to be agreed upon after successful placement, though experience in working in a fast paced high work load environment is key.
You will pro-actively target new customers from the market by the effective marketing of current products.
Own and effectively manage assigned commercial product promotions and sales campaigns in a compliant manner.
Maintain technical knowledge and customer servicing skills.
At least 10 years` experience as an Account Executive within an Insurance Broker.
Experience working in a fast paced target driven environment, dealing with premium sizes up to Ā£100,000 GWP.
It is expected that candidates will be experienced Commercial insurance professionals with good cross class knowledge and competency in dealing with clients ranging from SME through to large commercial risks.
Good existing insurer relationships will be a distinct advantage. It is essential that candidates have commercial insurance experience, from a broking background and an understanding/experience of the placements of corporate/commercial risks within the appropriate markets.
The role also requires the ability to work well within a team environment, build relationships and liaise with clients at all levels and sound negotiation and communication skills.
