Job Information

Our Client an Independent and un tied IFA’s based in Silsden requires a Part Time Paraplanner and Compliance Administrator. You will be working for 2 partners and 2 further Advisors within a team of administrators and researchers.


This description is indicative and should be expected to develop over time, depending on the employee’s capabilities and the IFA’s requirements.


General office administration


Duties include:


Technical paraplanning and administration support:


Taking instructions from the IFA


Report writing


In-depth product research and analysis


Completion of application and proposal forms and submission of new business


Preparation of investment reviews and valuations ahead of client meetings


Attending client meetings (likely primarily to be office based) to assist the IFA


Reviewing performance of client investment portfolios, considering revised holdings to ensure the portfolio composition continues to meet the client’s investment strategy and risk profile and actioning agreed fund switches


Dealing with technical client queries


Ensuring work is processed in line with FCA/FSMA and internal compliance procedures


General support duties to assist the IFA, including:


Preparing and maintaining client records


Email and paper correspondence review, action and filing


Dealing with telephone queries
