Our client has an exciting new opportunity to join their rapidly expanding FMCG business as a Forecasting Analyst. The role will see you join the company in a new function within the business which is a key role for them and their continued growth plans.

The Role:

The main objective will be to maximise sales turnover and to ensure the company obtains the best possible returns, while maintaining and improving the company�s margin target aspirations.

Main Duties:

� Create and develop medium term forecasting seasonal programmes (6 months rolling) for all customers
� Scenario planning/modelling will be required in order to identify the best sales opportunities working close with the finance team, as well with procurement and sales departments
� Will report regularly to the business, identifying missed sales opportunities and find ways to optimize sales wherever possible
� Must be able to collect and coordinate data from different sources, have the ability to interpret trends and patterns within the data, and analyze results


Experience Required:

� Strong degree in Maths or a related subject - MSc ideally in Forecasting
� Exceptional analytical skills and ability
� Experience in developing forecasts and mathematical models
� Previous experience in an FMCG environment would be desired but not necessary
