Job Information

My client, a marine manufacturer, is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their expanding team. This position, based in the Southampton area, oversees the finance function and prepares the accounts for the external accountant. Working within a team of two, this role reports into the Managing Director.

Main duties:

• Cash flow forecasting
• Maintaining asset register
• VAT returns
• Processing expense claims
• Prepayments, journals and accruals
• Assisting with budget, P&L and balance sheet
• Producing accounts to trial balance


Ideal candidate:

• 4+ years’ in a similar role
• Proficient with Sage or Navision
• Available at short notice
