Job Information

My client is a leading IFA who are looking to add fresh talent to their team. They seek an experienced IFA administrator. This is a varied and challenging role providing full support to senior Paraplanners and advisers covering the full range of financial planning.

This is an excellent career move for someone with experience of supporting IFAs who is now looking for a long term opportunity to build upon skills and experience which would eventually lead to Advisory status.

Responsibilities

• Processing new business, dealing with client policy enquiries and updating the back office client database
• Requesting information from Product Providers, including general client queries new business illustrations and on-line valuations
• General office administration : processing & scanning post and general e-mails, keeping our back-office systems up to date and accurate.
• Preparing packs for clients in good time for meetings, including compliance documents, valuation and review letters
• Handling day-to-day client queries and liaising with product providers on any queries.
• Attending product update meetings to start to build a high level of technical knowledge.
• Supporting the Paraplanners and Advisers with Suitability reports.


Experience

• Previous experience of an IFA environment
• Studying towards the Diploma in Financial Advising would be desirable but not necessary.
• Ideally would have used Intelligent Office Back Office System
