Corporate Account Handler
Leeds - Horsforth
Salary: £20,000 to £24,000 DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Excellent Benefits Package
Hours: Mon to Fri 9am : 5pm

Our client are a leading international insurance broker based in North Leeds and they are seeking an experienced Account Handler to support brokers, associated directors, client directors and the head of Corporate Division by undertaking duties as required by the team including, but not exclusively:

• Provision of administrative support and assistance
• Updating and maintaining client records
• Co-ordinating and being involved in marketing initiatives, email campaigns etc.
• Liaising with brokers and insurers regarding the administration of clients insurances
• The updating and issue of client registers
• Issuing of confirmation of Insurance Letters
• Completion of Confirmation of Insurance documents
• Issue of motor cover notes and certificates
• Administering of motor fleet declarations and vehicle changes
• Administering of the Motor Insurance Database for clients
• Undertaking tasks allocated by brokers
• Collating of pre-renewal proposals for brokers
• Processing of instructions from brokers
• Facilitating the timely receipt of insurer documents for brokers
• Handling of covers affiliated to Corporate clients


Essential Skills

• Sound knowledge of the commercial insurance market
• Well-developed organisational/administrative and keyboard skills
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Ability to learn quickly how to use other IT systems, including our broking software system
• Ability to communicate efficiently in writing and orally at Corporate level
• Ability to prioritise and produce work accurately
• A willingness and motivation to get things done


Desirable Skills

• Experience of Acturis broking software system
• Cert CII qualified
