Purchase Ledger Clerk

Cameron James are actively seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger clerk for a manufacturing company based just outside of York. The ideal candidate will have proven experience within an accountancy position and will be familiar with the functions of a Purchase Ledger Clerk. They would also ideally be studying AAT or will come from a manufacturing background.

The Role:

� Matching, batching and coding around 500 invoices per week
� Raising and checking purchase orders
� Bank reconciliations
� Liaising with suppliers and colleagues to resolve any financial queries
� Assisting with payment runs


The Candidate:

� Ideally from a manufacturing background or studying AAT
� Proven background within purchase ledger is essential
� Ideally familiar with working with a high volume of invoices
� Excellent eye for detail is advantageous
� Must be able to use Microsoft Office including Excel
