Cameron James are working with an exciting Marketing and Communication company who are looking for a part time Learning and Development Manager with HR Generalist experience to join them. The company is entering a real growth period and wants to facilitate a culture of progressive development for the employees, with a strategic focus on the long term growth of the business.

Reporting directly to the MD this is a key role in the development and growth of the company. This is a part time position working initially 3 days a week with the view to it moving to 4 days a week after an initial 12 month bedding in period.

Responsibilities of the successful Manager will include:

• Designing and implementation of learning solutions encompassing one to one coaching, classroom based training, mentoring and e-learning.
• Implementation of an induction process that is sustainable, continuous development review processes and training managers on implementation of PDRs.
• Initial and ongoing Training needs analysis focusing on both soft and technical skills
• Using external links if necessary to ensure that suitable learning and development solutions are sourced.
• Acting as first point of advice for all general HR requirements for management of performance and recruitment


The successful person will have demonstrable attributes and skills including:

• Previous design and implementation of training from conception
• Use of a range of delivery methods
• CIPD and training qualifications or similar
• Proven commercial focus and use of L&D to add value to the business
• Negotiation and presentation skills at a senior level
• Demonstration of creative thinking with relation to people development
• Strong IT knowledge and practical use.


The role will be 3 out of 5 days (Monday to Friday) ideally with full flexibility.

Salary is c. £30,000 pro rata
