Job Information

Cameron James Professional Services are working with a National Civil Engineering company who are looking to appoint an Administrator from a construction or engineering office background in their busy Leeds office. This is a role responsible for administration requirements across all aspects of the engineering employees, office data and managers so previous experience of managing a heavy workload, prioritisation and excellent demonstrable IT skills are necessary.


Responsibilities:

• To administer all initial contracts for starters and leavers
• Data inputting all information for spreadsheets, both management information, procurement and tender submission.
• Inputting all information regarding landowners, engineering works, scheduled works etc
• Working closely with the Administration Manager to ensure all daily, weekly and monthly submissions are completed to schedule.
• Undertake any ad hoc work as requested



Qualifications/Experience required:

• Use of various Microsoft Office applications - Word; Excel; Outlook.
• Practical office administrative experience;
• Excellent planning/organisational skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proactive and capable of acting autonomously
• Must have A-level Qualifications
• An Administrative qualification would be of benefit




The successful person will have worked within a construction or engineering office so be used to the busy environment, changing priorities and workload on a daily basis. In addition you must be able to handle requests from Managers and Directors with pressure to deliver in addition to your normal day to day scheduled tasks.
