Cameron James are currently working with a market leader within the IT and data solutions arena who are now looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk - Credit Controller to fit into their growing finance function. The company employ over 400 employees in the Stockport location and have grown year on year for over 15 years.

The ideal candidate will have experience within Sales Ledger and Credit Control and will be able to high volume invoicing on a daily basis. Ideally this candidate will come from a multinational organisation and will be used to being part of a huge blue chip company.


The Role:

• Creating and processing quotations, sales orders and invoices
• Liasing with depot to ensure timely delivery of good
• Reporting on the aged debtor, aged quotes, sales and live invoices weekly
• Dealing with high volume invoicing daily
• Apply credit notes to accounts
• Opening new client accounts and credit checking
• Monitoring all clients credit limits
• Actively chasing overdue funds on phone and email
• Management of all direct debit payments
• Generation of 7 day letters


The Candidate:

• AAT qualified is a must
• Previous experience in Sales Ledger and Credit Control is essential
• Confident, proactive, diligent and efficient
• Must have experience with credit checking and credit checking software
• Previous experience using Pegasus Software and Internet Banking is desirable
• Have to be able to work as part of a large organisation
• High volume invoicing experience is high desirable
