PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK - LEEDS

My client is looking for an experienced and hardworking Purchase Ledger clerk to join their expanding team on a permanent, full time basis. The candidate should be focused and able to deal with high volume; high value invoices. A background within construction is preferred but not essential.

SUMMARY

• 37.5 hours per week (Mon : Fri)
• Leeds based : good transport links / free parking
• Competitive salary - £18,000 : pension scheme : 20 days holiday : performance based bonus


KEY DUTIES

• Managing all aspects of purchase ledger
• Processing invoices : high volume
• Matching, batching and coding of invoices
• Authorising payments
• Dealing with payment queries
• Assisting the senior accountant


IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a purchase ledger clerk with accurate attention to detail and ambition for their work. My client is looking to pay around £18,000 dependant on the candidate’s experience.
