My client, a media company based in Central London are currently looking for a Qualified Financial Controller on a 6 - 12 month maternity contract.

The role requires someone who is Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA and you will be reporting directly into the CFO.

Duties will include:

� Preparing monthly management accounts and reports for operational management
� Month end process
� Preparing of monthly board packs
� Journals and final GL balances including balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts
� Ensuring accuracy of Company�s accounting records
� Producing statutory accounts
� Producing sales and financial KPI's for management reporting and Board packs
� Preparing budgets forecasts and business plans
� Monitoring and reviewing of performance and reporting variances
� Revenue forecasting and sale pipeline management
� Developing automated invoice processing
� Credit control
� Escalation procedures if necessary
� Overseeing AP/AR functions ensuring cash targets are met
� Cash planning and forecasting
� Risk assessment process
� Preparing monthly processing of payroll
� Managing staff benefits and processes
� VAT returns
� Managing one direct report
� Liaising with auditors and banks etc
� Implementing new accounting system


Ideal experience

� Fully qualified
� Experience in media or ad-tech
� UK Gaap knowledge
� Quickbooks and Salesforce system knowledge (advantageous)
� Able to work under pressure
