Job Information

Cameron James are looking for a unique HR Project Officer on the marketplace and immediately available to join our client in the Rotherham area for a 12 month contract working within the HR team but with an OD focus.

The individual needs to be tenacious and able to work at a senior level, engaging stakeholders from a cross organisational perspective, focusing on the alignment of competencies, ongoing strategy and L&D within the management teams. This is a perfect opportunity for an HR Officer with an OD focus to manage a series of challenging projects with clear targets from the outset.

The role will encompass the following:

• Engage at a senior level to assess current capabilities, PDR and Employee engagement strategies
• To be able to deliver clear L&D assessment and work with external providers to realise a firm set of training workshops to match needs of the business
• To use all methods of data gathering and analysis to produce management information for all areas of the OD projects and generalist HR
• To be able to present information at a senior level to external bodies, and senior stakeholders to challenge requirements and generate creative solutions within a limited budget
• To work within the HR team with a Generalist viewpoint updating policies and procedures in response to improvements and changes both self-initiated and externally impacted.
• Focus on the Employee Engagement within the organisation and garner suggestions from the employees as to what directions and solutions need to be taken


If you are an individual with a background in large corporate and complex organisations, have a broad understanding of OD and implementation of change at a senior level then this role should appeal to you. With the role also encompassing L&D strategies and working with external training providers you need to have demonstrable evidence of working within these areas as well as delivering Generalist HR policies and procedures on a daily basis.
