My client is recruiting for Standalone payroller as a new position in this exciting company.

The role will be bringing the payroll in-house and be working in a standalone position therefore candidates must be experienced within payroll and able to hit the ground running.

You will also be managing the sales and purchase ledger team to ensure that their duties are being completed.

Experience with implementation of systems is ideal but not essential.

Duties will include:

• Implementing payroll system
• Bringing the payroll in house
• Dealing with queries
• Handling payroll from start to finish
• Processing bimonthly and monthly payroll
• Processing all new starter and leavers and ensuring all relevant documentation is logged on the system
• Maintaining year end procedures including the producing of P60s and P11ds
• Performing manual calculations and processing statutory entitlements including SSP, SMP, SPP and SAP
• Investigating and resolving complex payroll queries
• Ensuring that all relevant documentation complies with HMRC legislation
