Our client is a medium sized not for profit organisation; they are based near to North Lambeth. They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the business for a fixed term contract.

This varied and exciting role will include the following duties:

� Monitoring and managing financial performance for budget holders and undertaking financial analysis, suggesting any solutions
� Assisting in preparing and presenting Management Accounts
� Assisting in training team in budgets, contractual, financial management and using Group�s Financial systems
� Preparing of reports for board/ management
� Supporting the sales ledger team and ensuring income due is collected
� Monitoring and auditing internal control procedures and systems
� Supporting the Deputy Director of Finance in preparing the Group�s annual report in line with SORP and charity law
� External audit support, implementing recommendations
� VAT returns
� Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
� Overseeing and checking payroll function and ensuring legislation is implemented
� Supporting the management of purchase department and ensuring invoices are processed
� Checking and authorising purchase ledger
� Supporting daily cash flow forecasts


Experience/Skills:

� CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified
� Staff management experience
� Charity/NHS/Care background


The successful candidate must have previous experience within a management position and be able to commit to a one year contract. Offering a competitive salary of c£40k. Although the position is initially a contract it could go permanent for the right candidate.
