Assistant Accountant

Bridlington

£20k - £23k + Study Support

This role requires qualifications please do not apply if you are not fully AAT qualified or nearly there or if you do not posses a 2:1 Accountancy & Finance degree or equivalent.

Cameron James are working with a growing FMCG/Food Manufacturer in the North Yorkshire region who are actively looking for an ambitious Accountancy and Finance professional who is looking for a progressive career as a company Accountant/Management Accounting.

The ideal candidate will have a full qualification in AAT or an Accountancy and Finance and will be looking to become fully qualified in the next few years.

The Role:

• Reporting monthly on management accounts
• Analysis on labour, volume, direct and packaging costs
• Assisting with the monthly management accounts
• Profit and loss and margin analysis
• Accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Posting Journals


The Candidate:

• Fully AAT Qualified or Degree equivalent
• Excellent attention to detail and drive
• Experienced in all transactional accountancy areas
• Exposure to monthly management accounts would be advantageous
• Proficient user of all Microsoft Office platforms including Excel
• Looking for a career and to complete either ACCA or CIMA
