Job Information

Cameron James Professional Services are working with a National Civil Engineering company who are looking to appoint an Administrator from a professional background where you will have dealt with directors, temps and site operatives on a daily basis. This is a role responsible for administration requirements across all aspects of the business within a team of 4 so previous experience of managing and sharing workload, and excellent IT skills are necessary.


Responsibilities:

• To administer all initial contracts for starters and leavers
• Data inputting all information for spreadsheets, both management information, procurement and tender submission.
• Inputting all information regarding landowners, engineering works, scheduled works etc
• Working closely with the Administration Manager to ensure all daily, weekly and monthly submissions are completed to schedule.
• Undertake any ad hoc work as requested



Qualifications/Experience required:

• Use of various Microsoft Office applications - Word; Excel; Outlook.
• Practical office administrative experience;
• Excellent planning/organisational skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proactive and capable of acting autonomously
• Ideally have A-level Qualifications
• An Administrative qualification would be of benefit




The successful person will ideally have worked within a construction or engineering office so be used to the busy environment, changing priorities and workload on a daily basis. If you come from a Professional Services background where you have dealt with high volumes, and made regular outgoing and incoming calls to Directors this would also be of interest. You must be able to handle requests from Managers and Directors in addition to your normal day to day scheduled tasks.
