Assistant Accountant - Part time temp

£9.00 - £11.00 per hour - 20 hours total - 4 hours a day - 5 days a week

Cameron James are looking for an immediately available candidate to fulfil a temporary assignment for an environmental company based in Hartlepool. The successful candidate will have experience in all areas of Accountancy and will be able to work at an operational level.

This position requires experience please do not apply if you have not had experience in general month end duties.

The Role:

• Payroll both weekly and monthly for over 200 employees in total
• Preparing journals, prepayments and accruals
• Assisting with the monthly management accounts
• General month end duties including analysis
• Support for the companies Finance Director and any adhoc requirements as requested


The Candidate:

• Must have experience in management accounts, preparing journals, prepayments and accruals
• Have to be able to handle all aspects of the Payroll
• Ability to be diverse and adapt to new requirements
• Excellent time management skills is a must
• Working knowledge of Moneysoft Payroll manager would be advantageous but non essential
