Job Information

My client, a hotel and restaurant organisation, is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join the established team. This role, based in the Kensington area, is a hands on position and deals with accounts from top to bottom. Working within a team of two, you will be reporting to the Financial Controller initially with the view to become the Head of the Department further down the line.

Main duties:

� Support FC in daily running of the department
� Producing budgets and cash flow forecasts
� Deal with all management accounts including commentary
� Performing balance sheet reconciliations
� Supervising the purchasing department to ensure efficiency
� Handling ledger maintenance
� Processing payroll
� Preparing annual statutory accounts


Ideal candidate:

� FLUENT in Italian
� Strong background in the hotel/restaurant sector
� Knowledge of Opera system : beneficial
� Ability to work from own initiative
