Practice Manager/Operations Manager - Protection

Location : London City

Salary : Circa £35,000 - £45,000 dependant on experience + benefits including death in service, season ticket loans and personal health insurance

Responsibilities of a Practice Manager/Operations Manager - Protection

• Implementing procedures to streamline the administration process
• Analysing existing client data and identifying why the firm can add value for the client
• Maintaining the adviser's workload using a back office system
• Overseeing support staff to ensure efficiency and support other areas of the business when necessary
• Implementing new systems and using them to their full potential
• To ensure all compliance requirements are met for the firm
• To ensure client information is recorded onto the database and to keep this up to date
• Liaising with providers on a daily basis on a range of matters regarding protection
• Building relationships with client and businesses and keeping them up to date
• Ensuring the company is kept up to date on market and regulation changes
• Supporting the company’s growth.


Are you a Senior Paraplanner, Protection Paraplanner, Financial Services Manager, Administration Manager, Protection consultant, Protection Manager, Mortgage and Protection Adviser, Protection Adviser, Financial Services Support Manager, Practice Manager, Operations Manager, Financial Services Business Support Manager, Compliance Manager or Financial Services office Manager£

Requirements for a Practice Manager/Operations Manager - Protection

• Diploma qualified or close to attaining DipFA/DipPFS status or similar
• At least 3 years’ experience providing protection administration and support within a Wealth Management, IFA or Financial Planning Firm
• Proven ability to implement process changes
• Experience of dealing with HNW, UHNW and demanding clients.
• Track record of ability to work compliantly
• Experience in processing new protection business
• Able to liaise with clients and third party providers in a professional and efficient manner.
• Experience using a back office system similar to Intelliflo with a strong knowledge of provider platforms
• Providing extensive administrative and technical support to the advisors
• Excellent communicator, organized, knowledgeable and technically minded
• Ideally you will have experience of holding FCA permissions e.g. CF8, CF10, CF11
